ECOLOGICAL REMOVER OF INK RESIDUES
PRODUCT:
Ecological remover of ink residues.
USE:
For the reclaiming of screen printing stencils.
PROPERTIES:
- Mixture of active biodegradable products to remove ink residues from screen printing stencils, before decoating the emulsion or film layer.
- Highly efficient to dissolve UV, solvent based and plastisol inks.
- Avoids the formation of ghost images.
- For manual cleaning or automatic equipments with solvent recirculation. Long lasting operational life.
- High flash point of 216°F (102°C). It is not necessary to work in an explosion proof area.
- Balanced formulation, slow evaporation and free of VOCs. Low odor.
- Not flammable. Not listed as dangerous according to the transportation regulations.
- Biodegradable. Free of aromatic and aliphatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated solvents or any substance listed as toxic.
- Does not damage solvent resistant stencils, DECAFIX two component adhesives or the screen mesh.
- Aids in the stencil removing and degreasing operations.
- Recyclable by sedimentation. This process can be accelerated with the use of VARIOADD 0095.
USE INSTRUCTIONS:
MANUAL CLEANING:
After printing, remove the excess of ink with a spatula.
Apply VARIOWASH 4306 with a brush or sponge, on both sides of the stencil, covering all the dirty areas. Brush gently to help dissolving thicker layers of ink. Use a brush soaked with excess of product. Return the contaminated product to a tank, for recirculation and future recycling.
After removing all ink residues, wash with water (preferably with high pressure water). Decoat the emulsion using HB 50 Emulsion removers (strippers) or VARIOSTRIP 9228, according to the instructions on the technical information manuals.
AUTOMATIC PROCESS:
Operate the automatic cleaning equipment according to the instructions provided by the manufacturer.
Verify often the condition, level and cleanliness of the VARIOWASH 4306 in the tank, and the functionality of the system in order to assure a constant efficiency.
RECYCLING:
For faster recycling of the saturated solvent, add 1% (by weight) of the accelerator of sedimentation VARIOADD 0095 and stir. Let it settle for at least 12 hours. Discard the sludge on the bottom of the tank (approximately 20% of the total volume).
To reuse the remaining recycled solvent, mix in a 1:1 ratio with fresh VARIOWASH 4306.
WARNINGS:
Read the MSDS before using the products.
In case of contact with eyes, rinse opened eyes for several minutes under running water.
It is advisable to wear protective gloves.

S 24/25 – Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
S 26 – In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
S 51 – Use only in well ventilated areas.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Sometimes it might not be possible to remove stains of epoxy, catalyzed or cured inks.
