ECOLOGICAL SOLVENT FOR SCREEN CLEANING
PRODUCT:
Ecological solvent for screen cleaning.
USE:
For cleaning screens during and after printing.
PROPERTIES:
- Mixture solvents to remove ink residues (even after dried) from screen printing stencils.
- Highly efficient to dissolve UV, solvent based, water based and plastisol inks, during and after printing.
- Leaves no residues. After cleaning, it is not necessary to use water or any other solvent.
- For manual cleaning or automatic equipments with solvent recirculation. Long lasting operational life.
- High flash point over 175°F (80°C). It is not necessary to work in an explosion proof area.
- Not flammable. Not listed as dangerous according to the transportation regulations.
- Slow evaporating.
- Biodegradable. Low odor.
- Does not damage solvent resistant stencils, two component adhesives or the screen mesh.
- Can also be used for cleaning printing squeegees, spatulas and other tools with ink residues.
- Recyclable by vacuum distillation.
USE INSTRUCTIONS:
DURING PRINTING:
If the screen gets blocked by drying ink, clean all the image areas with a rag or cloth soaked with VARIOPRESS 2704. Clean both sides of the screen. Wipe with a dry cloth or absorbent paper for drying the screen before resuming printing.
MANUAL CLEANING:
After printing, to store the stencil for printing later on, use VARIOPRESS 2704 to remove all ink residues.
Remove the excess of ink with a spatula.
Apply VARIOPRESS 2704 with a rag or cloth, on both sides of the stencil, covering all the dirty areas. Brush gently to help dissolving thicker layers of ink. If necessary, use a cleaner rag soaked with the product until the screen is clean.
An alternative procedure is to dip the screens in an immersion tank. Leave for a few minutes. Remove the screen from the tank, let drip the excess of solvent. Dry with a cloth or absorbent paper.
AUTOMATIC PROCESS:
Operate the automatic cleaning equipment according to the instructions provided by the manufacturer.
Verify often the condition, level and cleanliness of the VARIOPRESS 2704 in the tank, and the functionality of the system in order to assure a constant efficiency.
WARNINGS:
Read the MSDS before using the products.
In case of contact with eyes, rinse opened eyes for several minutes under running water.
It is advisable to wear protective gloves.
