STENCIL REMOVER
(DECOATER)

PRODUCT:

Stencil Remover (Decoater).

FORMS:

Paste, gel, liquid, powder or concentrates.

USE:

Reclaiming screen printing stencils.

PROPERTIES:

  • Provides easy and fast decoating of emulsions and capillary films, from all types of meshes.
  • HB50 paste and gel are specially designed for use in large sizes. The products can be used on a standing screen,
without the need of immersion tanks.
  • HB50 liquid is ready to use.
  • HB50 powder and concentrates can be used to prepare solutions of varying strength according to the need.
  • HB50 super concentrate does not crystallize in the nozzles of automatic reclaiming units.
  • Do not contain chlorine. Odorless.

INSTRUCTIONS (Paste or Gel):

The screen must be cleaned of all ink residues (Fig. 1).

Use HB52 Ink Residue Remover to eliminate all dried ink residues that can become a barrier to the action of HB50. Wet the stencil with water.

Apply HB50 with a soft brush on both sides of the screen.

Leave for about 2 minutes. If necessary, scrub the product for better results (Fig. 2). In cases where hardeners or catalysts have been used, leave for longer time periods.

Do not let the product dry on the stencil.

Wash the stencil with running water, then use high pressure water (Fig. 3) until all emulsion is removed (Fig. 4).

INSTRUCTIONS FOR DILUTION (Powder and Concentrates):

POWDER - Dissolve HB50 powder with the following ratio:

• 100 grams of powder (1 envelope) in 10 liters of water. For emulsions with high water resistance or catalyzed
stencils, dissolve 100 grams of powder in 5 liters of water, creating a stronger solution.

CONCENTRATE - Dilute 1 liter of HB50 Concentrate Liquid in 4 to 9 liters of water.

SUPER CONCENTRATE - Dilute 1 liter of HB50 Super Concentrate Liquid in 20 to 30 liters of water.

Obs.: If a stronger solution is needed, reduce the amount of water used for the dilution. HB50 liquid is ready to use.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USING (Liquids):

Using a brush or sponge, apply HB50 on both sides of the stencil. An alternative procedure is to leave the screen
submersed in the remover for 5 minutes (Fig. 5). In cases where hardeners or catalysts were used, leave for longer
time periods or prepare a more concentrated solution. For faster results, the product can be scrubbed continuously
on the mesh.

Do not let the product dry on the stencil.

Wash the stencil with running water, then use high pressure water (Fig. 6) until all emulsion is removed (Fig. 7).

ATTENTION:

Do not mix HB50 with products that contain Sodium Hypochlorite.
Read the MSDS before using the products.
