Water resistant blockout.
To block out open stencil areas.
To touch up stencil pinholes and defects.
The product can be coated with an Agabe emulsion coater (Fig. 1) or with a plastic spatula when the stencil is held in the horizontal position (Fig. 2).
Dry with hot or cold air (Fig. 3).
After drying, a second coat can be applied if needed.
Use a brush for touching up the stencil.
To further increase the water resistance, the screen can be treated with Catalyst HB74 or Hardeners HB72 or HB76 (Fig. 4).
The HB20 Acqua water resistant block out can be removed using the regular emulsion removers (decoaters). It is recommended to use HB50 Emulsion Remover and, if necessary, HB52 Ink Remover.
Reclaiming will be more difficult if the stencils are treated with HB72, HB74 or HB76.
