MESH DEGREASER
PRODUCT:
Mesh degreaser.
FORMS:
Paste or Light Gel (viscous liquid).
USE:
To clean the mesh prior to coating the emulsion or film.
PROPERTIES:
- Degreases all types of screen fabrics: nylon, polyester and stainless steel. For new and reclaimed meshes.
- Completely removes all greases, particles and other impurities.
- Improves the quality of the emulsion layer, reducing the number of coating defects.
- Improves the adhesion of emulsions and films to the mesh.
- Reduces the number of pinholes in the stencil, avoiding unnecessary touch ups.
- The product is ready to use. No other chemical treatment is required after the degreasing operation.
- Does not damage the mesh.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Wet the mesh (Fig. 1) and apply the Degreaser with a soft brush. Gently brush it over the whole surface, on both sides of the fabric (Fig. 2). Foaming is an indication that the mesh is degreased.
Wash with water until all product is dissolved and no residues are left (Fig. 3).
Dry the screen completely before coating the emulsion or adhering the film.
Do not touch the fabric after it has been degreased (Fig. 4).
* The air generally contains particles, which can contaminate the fabric. For this reason it is recommended to degrease the screens just prior to use the emulsion or film.
WARNINGS:
Read the MSDS before using the products.
In case of contact with eye, rinse opened eye for several minutes under running water.
It is advisable to wear protective gloves.
