PRODUCT:

One component haze remover.

FORM:

Cream or gel.

USES:

Reclaiming screen printing stencils (haze remover).
Degreasing the mesh.

PROPERTIES:

  • Removes ghost images, ink and emulsion residues, leaving the mesh completely clean. Thus it is possible to achieve a perfect image reproduction on reclaimed screens.
  • Dissolves completely all types of greases and removes impurities, acting as a degreaser.
Improves the adhesion of films and emulsions.
  • Ready to use. It is not necessary to add any additives.
  • Avoid the use of dangerous solvents.
  • The new gel version has a lower viscosity, for easier and more uniform application.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Removing ghost images and residues of inks and emulsions (Fig. 1).

After removing the emulsion, with HB50 Stencil Remover (decoater), dry the mesh. Apply Decaclean HR with a soft nylon brush. Gently brush it over the stained areas on both sides of the mesh (Fig. 2)

Use a printing squeegee to force the products to penetrate into the mesh (one squeegee stroke on each side). Remove the excess and return to the container.

DECACLEAN HR Gel can be easily applied onto the mesh, using a stainless steel coating trough. The coater HB APLIC® can also be used, but the aluminum surface will be damaged by the product. One coat on each side is sufficient.

Leave for 10-15 minutes (longer time may damage polyester meshes).

Wash with high pressure water, with horizontal strokes, starting from the bottom going up to the top (Fig. 3).

The mesh will be completely clean (Fig. 4).

When used on polyester meshes, the product can be neutralized after the cleaning process. Apply a mixture of acetic acid (5% in water) or vinegar. Wash with running water.

In case the stencil will be immediately coated, it is not necessary to degrease the mesh.

INSTRUCTIONS: Mesh degreasing.

Degrease the mesh just prior to coating the emulsion or film.

Wet the stretched mesh with water (Fig. 5).

Apply Decaclean HR with a soft nylon brush. Gently brush it over the whole surface, on both sides of the fabric (Fig. 6).

Wash with water until all product is dissolved and no residues are left (Fig. 7).

When used on polyester meshes, the product can be neutralized. Apply a mixture of acetic acid (5% in water) or vinegar. Wash with water

Dry the screen completely before coating the emulsion or film.

Do not touch the mesh after the treatment (Fig. 8).
