MULTIFUNCTIONAL SYSTEM FOR SCREEN RECLAIMING
PRODUCT:
Multifunctional system for combined ink removal, decoating and degreasing in one single operation.
USE:
Screen reclaiming.
PROPERTIES:
- Eliminates ink residues, decoats direct emulsions and cappilary films, prevents the formation of ghost images and degreases the mesh, all in one single operation.
- Easier screen reclaiming. The product does not damage polyester or nylon meshes.
- Better productivity and more economic.
- High flash point and lower flammability. It is not necessary to work in an explosion proof area. No risk for transportation and storage.
- Low volatility and smell. Low levels of VOCs.
- The products are easily biodegradable. There is no need for special waste water treatment.
- Can be used for manual cleaning or in automatic machines.
MIXING INSTRUCTIONS:
Mix the working solution of DECACLEAN MIX in a plastic container (do not use PVC) using the following volumetric recipy (Fig. 1):
Example of Basic Formulation
This basic formulation can be optimized according to the type of ink as shown on the table below:

Note: Once mixed, the DECACLEAN MIX working solution can be used in up to two weeks, as long as it is not contaminated with ink residues. If contaminated with ink residues, the pot life is reduced to two days.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USING:
After printing, use a spatula to clean the screen, removing as much ink as possible.
Stir well the DECACLEAN MIX solution before using. Apply it with a soft brush, sponge or mop, on both sides of the stencil (Fig. 2). Brush gently until all ink is dissolved. Let it rest for 2 or 3 minutes.
Wash with high pressure water, with horizontal strokes, starting from the bottom going up to the top (Fig. 3). This single operation removes ink residues, decoats the emulsion, prevents the formation of ghost images and degrease the screen (Fig. 4). If necessary, repeat the operation.
Wash thoroughly with fresh water and dry the screen.
Do not touch the mesh after the treatment.
Note: In case of old or stubborn ghost images, apply DECACLEAN MIX A (pure) with a brush over the stained area and leave it for 15 to 30 minutes. Wash with high pressure water jet , starting from the bottom. Then rinse with fresh water. Another option is to use Decaclean HR Gel.
ATTENTION:
Do not mix DECACLEAN MIX A+B with products containing chlorine (bleach).

DECACLEAN MIX B:

Note: Although there are no environmental restrictions regarding to the components of DECACLEAN MIX (A+B), if these products are contaminted with inks, solvents or other residues, the requirements for discharging the liquid effluents may change.
