INSTANT DRY ADHESIVE
PRODUCT:
Instant Dry Adhesive.
PRESENTATION:
- Adhesive: Bottle of 450 grams with spreading tip.
- Activator: Aerosol can of 340 grams (CFC Free).
APPLICATION:
To bond fabrics to metal or wood frames.
CARACTERÍSTICAS:
- Provides a strong and permanent bond on wood, aluminum or metal frames of nylon, polyester and metallic fabrics.
- Instant dry, allowing a more effective use of the stretching equipments. Guarantees high productivity for the stretching department.
- Easy to use. It is not necessary to mix the components previously, avoiding losses of the prepared adhesive.
INSTRUCTIONS:
APPLICATION: The frames must be dry and clean. Metallic frames must have a rough surface. If needed, sand the surface prior to using the adhesive.
Put the frame on the stretching device and adjust the appropriate tension. The fabric must be in perfect contact with the frame.
Remove the protective cover of the spreading tip. With scissors or a knife, cut the tip. (Fig. 1)
Apply the DECAFIX INSTANT DRY ADHESIVE directly over the areas to be glued. Apply only a thin strip of adhesive. (Fig. 2). With a plastic spatula, spread the adhesive covering the area of contact of the fabric with the frame completely (Fig. 3). Do not let the adhesive contaminate the print area of the fabric. The cured adhesive is hard and brittle and can damage the mesh if applied out of the frame area.
Spray the DECAFIX INSTANT ACTIVATOR over the whole adhesive area. In contact with the Activator, the adhesive cures instantly (Fig. 4). The stencil can be removed from the stretching device and is ready to use.
Attention: After using the adhesive and the activator, close the containers with its own covers.
CAUTION: The components of the DECAFIX INSTANT DRY are flammable. Keep the recipients of the Adhesive and the Activator well closed. Store in a fresh and dry place. Avoid contact with skin and spills in the eyes. Its advisable to use polyethylene gloves and protective goggles. Work in a well ventilated area or wear masks with filter for organic vapors.
